FEST screening of Barrio Boys movie! They donated over 100 bags
of Chifles for every seat in the theater! The Barrio Boys movie is best

sooo 1900's.)

* NOTE: BARRIO BOYS is screening at the 2nd Floor screening room of
Avalon Island (previously known as the DMAC Building) on the corner
of Pine and Magnolia. You can't miss it- it's the 2 story green building.)
Barrio Boys used to be known as the Barri-Oi! Boys. This musical duo
featured the looks, lyrics, and moves of Tony El Guapo and the voice
of Greg Rivera. Their story so moved filmmaker Anthony Torres that he
agreed to write and direct and edit their story. Collaborating with
FTC Orlando, Tony and Greg starred in the role of their lives! Literally
and figuratively!

17 2007 OLA FEST SCREENING *UPDATE!* DETAILS
Barrio
Boys is an official selection of OLA Festival, Orlando Latin American
Fest. This is a free screening, and the movie is suitable for ALL AGES.
Seriously. There's no cursing, nudity, violence, or innuendo. Just singing,
dancing, drama and laughs. Run time is 25 minutes. There are movies
running Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sunday. Saturday is a pretty awesome day,
so if you love movies then make sure to buy tix for the events preceding
and following Barrio Boys. Barrio Boys- again- is a free screening as
it's a 25 minute short and not part of a shorts program. FREE FOR ALL!!!
PIRAGUA
PARTY
The Piragua
Party features the Piragua Cart and free Piraguas (aka Sno-Cones, shaved
ice, Raspado, Hawaiian Ice...). A piragua is better than a sno cone
because the syrup is a lot thicker and richer. Plus a Piragua has a
cone top. Come out, get a free piragua, grab a seat, and enjoy the NEWLY
MASTERED Barrio Boys for 2007!

postcards on Feb 3, 07, and we're debating snail mail vs. postal mail
for the valentine's day card. It depends on time as well as how the
postcards held up in transit.
